Service Agreement Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Cedar Crest Lighting, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides professional holiday lighting services, including design, installation, maintenance, and takedown of seasonal lighting and decorations. By booking or engaging our services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).

1. Satisfaction Guarantee

We want you to love your holiday lighting. If you are not completely satisfied with our work, please notify us promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns, including service adjustments or partial refunds when appropriate. Open communication helps us ensure every installation meets our quality standards.

2. Services Provided

We provide full-service holiday lighting solutions, which include:

  • Professional design consultation

  • Installation and secure mounting of lighting and décor

  • In-season maintenance and troubleshooting

  • Removal and safe storage (if applicable)

All décor and lighting materials remain the property of Cedar Crest Lighting unless otherwise specified in writing.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A 50% deposit is required to reserve your installation date.

  • Deposits become non-refundable after seven (7) days from payment.

  • The remaining balance (50%) is due within 30 days of the installation date.

  • Late payments will incur a 3% monthly finance charge.

  • Installations are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. Specific dates may vary due to weather or operational factors.

4. Rental & Installation Terms

  • All lighting and décor are leased for the duration of the season unless explicitly purchased by the customer.

  • The customer is responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to installation areas, including clear access to outlets and pathways.

  • If applicable, the customer must secure any required homeowner association (HOA) or municipal approvals.

  • We take great care to protect property; however, Cedar Crest Lighting is not liable for pre-existing damage, structural defects, or conditions beyond our control.

5. Liability & Damage

Customers are responsible for any damage to lights or décor caused by:

  • Vandalism, pets, or third-party interference

  • Improper handling after installation

  • Unauthorized modifications or relocation of décor

We are not liable for damages or outages resulting from:

  • Severe weather (ice, wind, snow, hail)

  • Power interruptions

  • Acts of God or unforeseen circumstances

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the affected service.

6. Maintenance & Repairs

  • Routine maintenance for issues caused by normal use is provided at no charge within 72 hours of notice.

  • Repairs required due to vandalism, pets, or customer interference may incur additional costs.

  • Customers must report outages or malfunctions promptly to ensure timely response.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable after seven (7) days of payment.

  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled installation date will forfeit all payments made.

  • If an installation is postponed due to weather or unforeseen events, Cedar Crest Lighting will work with you to reschedule as soon as possible.

8. Safety & Compliance

For your safety, do not adjust, relocate, or modify any installed lighting or décor.

We are not responsible for injuries or accidents that occur due to unauthorized tampering or improper use after installation.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Severe weather or natural disasters

  • Power outages

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Labor shortages or transportation delays

  • Acts of vandalism or government restrictions

In such cases, installations will be rescheduled at the earliest available date.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Customer information is used solely for service delivery and communication. We do not sell or share personal information except as required by law.

11. Updates to Terms

Cedar Crest Lighting reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be published on our website or communicated directly to active customers. Continued use of our services signifies acceptance of the most current version.
